Who Is International Friendship?

International Friendship
is a non-profit organization that exists
to befriend and assist international students, scholars and their
families during their transition and stay in America.
We seek to promote mutual understanding through cultural exchange and dialogue while providing services that benefit the future leaders of countries from over 100 different nations around the globe. Because of the global influence of IF, our relationships with associations and affiliations enable us to have a network that connects us with organizations at over 500 universities in America, Asia & Europe. We believe cultural exchange is essential for a successful world and a successful America. Meaningful dialogue and communication are vital components of a positive experience in America and for success in the academic and professional world. IF’s English teachers are certified ESL instructors and University linguistics students. Most of our volunteers have traveled to many other countries and are able to assist internationals in a multitude of practical ways. Special events include experiencing and understanding American holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as trips to experience the variety of natural resources in the state of Florida and throughout America.
